Sweetland Farm

Sweetland Farm is a small, certified organic farm located in western Wisconsin.  

We raise organic poultry, beef and vegetables, and offer heirloom chicken eggs, free range broiler chickens, heirloom turkeys, grassfed beef, and organic vegetables.    

Our motto is that food should not only look appealing and appetizing, but it must have exceptional flavor and nutrition.  Vegetables, fruits, eggs and meats raised slowly and carefully from heirloom varieties and breeds.  On land that is lovingly cared for and teaming with the diversity of life.  This is real food, and it will always far outdistance the "junk" from our mass-produced counterparts. 

For the past 13 years, we've dedicated ourselves to producing raw, grassfed milk and butter from our little herd of Jersey cows, and coaxing the finest eggs from our flocks of hens, so that we could offer this life-giving food to our customers who needed and appreciated our food.  As for our garden, it has always been a labor of love.  We always seem to find time to grow a good-sized garden crop for ourselves and extra to share.

Just as our farming philosophy declares that our animals should have a long, healthy, stress-free life, so should we. 

At the end of our farming season in 2009, we made the difficult decision to part with our beloved dairy cows.  And so we're going to slow down a bit, take more time to see the sunrises and sunsets, and smell the flowers in between the weeding and tending that goes on little piece of land.
