All of our chickens and other poultry flocks are free ranged throughout the year. Yes, even in the wintertime, you'll see our hens outside on nice days. |
Our Free Range Poultry
We raise chickens the old-fashoined way- outside, foraging for bugs and plant seeds, enjoying fresh air and sunshine. We raise small batches of broilers on free ranging pasture areas. These juicy, flavorful birds taste like REAL CHICKEN!
Our organic, free ranged birds take longer to get to market size, but then our birds are not "pumped and primed" for super-fast growth on protein-rich, antibiotic laced, GMO- contaminated feed like conventional, flabby, pasty-looking supermarket chickens. Broiler Chickens are raised from May- October, frozen chicken is on hand until we are sold out in the winter. Roasters and Stewing hens are available in the fall. |
