Pastured Broilers
We allow our broiler chickens as much room as we safely can, to protect them from predators. The electric poultry netting surrounding our hoop-house discourages ground predators (fox, raccoon, opossum, stray dogs) while at the same time, allows these birds the opportunity to free range and forage for bugs and succulent grass & clovers all day long. In addition, they are fed certified organic feed.

"Straight-run" pullets and cockerels, Cornish-cross broilers, raised in small batches. Sweetland Farm has raised these succulent broiler chickens for the past 13 years. These fast-growing chickens, with ample breast meat, make happy customers, for those who prefer more white meat, and very tender chicken.
